For those who take spinning....
I am thinking of trying a spinning class at my gym tomorrow morning. They don't have a level recommendation on the schedule, but I was wondering what should I know before going in?
Any recommendations or tips??

a sore butt and 'other area' is normal!!
go at your own pace, if your new at it, you will most likeyl not be able to keep up with the instructor.....dont let that or the soreness deter you - its an awesome workout!

Pace yourself, bring a towel, water bottle, and don't wear running shorts...where biker shorts or pants.
Don't give up when it gets tough. Just release some of the tension and spin faster. It's tough, especially in the beginning but worth it and so good for you!

Definately go at your own pace, bring a water bottle and paper towel/towel to wipe sweat.
Also I would highly recommend going to Modells and buying a cushion seat cover you can put directly over the bike seat. That really saved my fanny. I love me some spin.
