Great South Bay Run
Anyone doing this on Saturday in Bayshore?
I'm doing the half-marathon, so exctied! I've been training a little over 2 months.

I am!!! I am doing the 10k but have not trained for this in the least - lord help me!! 
I have a wedding tomorrow night so am going to take it easy so that I can party all night long 
Good luck with the half!!!! Maybe I will see you there?

Azad - remember to start slow and keep yourself at a comfortable pace and you will get through it no issue. I'm so proud of you!!!!

Oh great- you'll do great! You've been working so hard, I know you can do it! I'll look for you.
Wanna hear something that bites- I have a wedding to go to TONIGHT! and it's in NJ!
So I'm not drinking, and told my DH we're leaving at 11. I'm praying I'm in bed by 12.
It's so frustrating to be training for so long and than have something derail me like this. Oh well, such is life. I just hope it goes well.

Wow that does stink  I am sure you will still do spectacularly!!!

It was beautiful! A bit cold to begin with but awesome  I didn't see you but I was looking for you!
I think I did pretty good all things considered - 1 hour and 5 minutes!
How was the 1/2?? I was thinking about you!

that's great! I finished the half in 2:15, which is a big improvement for me since I did my first marathon last year in 5:08. So over a minute faster per mile! I was very happy considering I only had 5 hours of sleep.
There were a ton of people there. I actully had my dog Chip with me- a little brown fluffy dog. My DH had him by the tents before the race started.
