"Survivors" guilt?
We had a "restructuring" at work today, which basicallly meant bloodbath. 50 people were let go in my department, which is pretty much half. People I have worked with for years. I was one of the lucky ones. At the same time I feel guilty for feeling so bad, since I should consider myself lucky. I am truly devastated, but feel like I have no right to be since I still have a job. Does this make sense?
