Thyroid problems..??
I need to get bloodwork done.
I am so sick all the time.
I thought it was my sinuses. But I am not sure. I am horrible with going to the doctor but I know I must find out whats going on.
My mom has thyroid disease. I have none of the weight loss or gain issues but every day I suffer from headaches, anxiety, I am always hot, shaky from time to time, my eyes are always hurting even when my glasses are on and I have floaters in them constantly. I am also dizzy a lot of the time.
Anyone here suffer from thyroid problems? Any of these symptoms sound familiar? Just looking for some feedback. Thanks!

Re: Thyroid problems..??
There are such a variety of issues that can come along with an underactive thyroid...
Do you know what your mom has? I have Hashimoto's and I know that my daughters are at an increased risk of it b/c I have I have it..
I would definitely get your blood drawn. But one word of advice for you....Im going to assume that you will have your primary physician do the draw and report the results. The guidelines have changed over the past few years and what your GP may consider "normal" may not be considered "normal" by an Endo.
Labcorp has their normal range for your TSH level as *.5 through 4.5* when my levels came back as 4.6 my GP told me it was OK b/c it wasnt really abnormal. Because I had a multitude amount of symptoms of hypothyroid I did some research online and made an appointment with an Endo (which can take months)...An Endo will tell you that a TSH level of greater than 3 is considered abnormal and they prefer to see your levels between 1.0 to 2.0...Sure enough I have Hashimoto's and I would still be suffering had I listened to my GP. A friend of mine had/is having a similar experience with her GP and her levels etc...so it wasnt a solitary incident. The board of endocrinologists is trying to change the criteria...
If you have any questions please feel free to FM me. Im by no means an expert...but I just went through it so maybe I can lend an ear...
