I was planning on purchasing Dowling credits (tuition waiver) from a poster on Craiglsist. I noticed one of the terms is that the owner can only give it to a family member, but I have seen plenty of people selling them on this forum and on Craigslist. My question is has anyone ever experienced problems redeeming the certificate (when purchased from a non-family member)?

Also, if my cooperating teacher is the seller and my name is listed as the student teacher on the tution waiver will I have a problem redeeming at Dowling?
