we had THE conversation & book recommendation

things have been a bit tense at my house these last few weeks as my SS has taken to slide snide remarks into conversations, question our parenting with DS and things of that nature. today was THE straw that broke the camel's back and i explained that it feels as though he's coming btwn me and DH...we agreed that we need to discuss his boundaries and I have to say...i'm glad it came to a head. i have sooooo much pressure lifted off of me and feel like i can finally say how i feel when i feel it rather than building up pent up frustration.

it also helps, that i've been reading StepMonster - a book someone on here posted a link to last week. i feel like it's changed my life already - i am so empowered and i don't feel bad about my feelings anymore.

for those of you who think u r getting overwhelmed, i highly suggest this book. i found myself saying, "yep", "omg" and "aha" a lot during each chapter. :)
