before we were married, weeks if not months at a time when I was in College

now - upto two weeks, traveling for work.

Consecutively - 2 months. On several occasions including right now while he is in Germany

Non Consecutively - 6 months - last summer while I moved to VA and he was finishing up our lease in LI right before we got married.

When we first started dating, we went to school about 4 hours away from each other... so ..... I would say the longest we would go was 2 weeks. We TRIED to visit every weekend but you know how it is in college...... project/paper due dates, midterms/finals...... so occasionally things like that got in the way but not too often!

Since then, the longest we have been apart was once for 4 nights..... and I missed him so much I slept on his side of the bed!

Before we were married about 2 days when I went on a trip for work, and after we were married about 2 days when my DH went on a trip for work. Since our children were born I spent 2 nights alone in the hospital after my DS was born, and one night alone at the hospital after my DD was born.
