Bump! I havent seen this thread in a long time and wanted to share it with the new girls on this board.

As I was looking through this Original post ...I realized that so many of these girls now have babies/children at home!

There were several with mutliple miscarriages and we are now MOMS!

It is so hard going through this, but just dont give up hope. I always found these Threads very helpful and to know I wasnt alone.

I have met some wonderful friends from this board. Now we meet up with our DC for playdates.Chat Icon I could of never had gone through this alone and without the help of everyone on this board!!!

Goodluck to everyone!!! Many prayers and hugs for you all.

Wow this is a great thread.

I'm Kerri
I'm 29 and DH is 28.
we got pregnant on our HM and found out about a week or so after we came home (first week of december). Our first dr appt was Dec 26. Everything was well and there was a heartbeat. On Jan 11th we had appt number 2 and there was no longer a heartbeat or blood flow on the doppler. I never bled or even spotted a single drop of blood. I never had any excruciating pains or severe cramping like I thought I would if I were mcing. It was a missed miscarriage.
5 days later, on Jan 15th I had a DNC.

There was always a strange nagging negative feeling. I was scared more than the norm for me and.... I just felt like something bad was going to happen. I can't explain it really. Though I thought things were fine... deep down I just had this fear and bad feeling. Sometimes when DH or someone would say things like "when the baby comes...." and my first thought would be... there isn't going to be a baby. I didn't KNOW anything was wrong and had no reason to think it. At times I really thought everything was fine and OK too.

The testing from the DNC came back with Trisomy 21. Down's Syndrome. We are both supposed to go for genetic testing to see if either, both or hopefully neither of us are carriers.

We are currently trying again. this is my 2nd month using the CBEFM. I'd like to be pregnant by my original due date.

WOW!
this whole thread has me literally crying here!

this was my original post.
I got pregnant late oct 2010. I had my DD 8 weeks ago tomorrow.
Don't give up hope ladies... even when you are feeling so down in the dumps, like this is just never going to happen. I know that as each cycle comes and goes it gets hard to not lose hope that it WILL happen. You start to almost expect it to not happen. there were definitely times when I really believed it wasn't ever going to happen for us. i really had some very difficult times.
keep trying... and know that even when you feel like this just isn't going to work out... it really can and does! and let those of us who went through these bad situations that now have DC's in the end be the proof of that.

good luck to everyone on this board. it really served as an emotional outlet for the crazy feelings surrounding my mc. being able to channel your feelings in such a way is really helpful to healing... i'm so thankful to of had this board throughout the hardest time in my life.
