I guess I'll share too!! Great Idea! I'm Jessica Me and DH are both 35, married almost 4 years (March will be 4 yrs.) I have 2 beautiful boys, 12 and 2!
Obviously the big gap between pregnancies, for obvious reasons.. my first pregnancy with DH happend right after we were married... Not really trying but def. not preventing.... However I MC at around 9 wks, blighted ovum. and had a D&C that was in June of 06.
Tried again and found out i was pregnat in Dec of 06 with DS #2. (had him 8/07)
That brings me to now. Found out i was pregnant in Nov 08, but again MC in Jan this time lost the heart beat. And we've been trying ever since. We're in month #9.... and getting very frustrated!! I have a Dr. appt on thursday, so hopefully we can start trying something, anything... I'm losing my mind, and about ready to just throw in the towel....
Anyway, thanks for listening ladies!! TONS AND TONS of to all of you!! Best of luck Jessica, keep us posted on your dr.'s appointment

Re: Intro Thread .... a place to share your story, and get to know others!
Well Ladies I wanted to properly introduce myself. My name is Lauren. My story is alittle different in that I did not have a miscarriage. After a year of trying, we were finally able to conceive. Our ultrascreen came back with a high risk for downs. We discovered after having the CVS test done that our baby had Triploid. Which is basicly when the baby has 69 chromsomes instead of 46. The condition is incompatible with life. We decided that we had no choice but to terminate the pregnancy. We just had the D&C this past friday. This experience has truely changed me forever. We am still heal from the D&C and am not sure when we will be trying again.

Im Jessica, I'm 25 & Dh is 28. We started trying in March & I got pregnant on my first try. We were thrilled & of course started all our planning. I lost my baby @ 6 weeks & 5 days. I don't know if I'm going to need a D&C or not. It seems like I won't. The experience has been horrible & I'm afraid to try again. We are going to wait a while now. I don't even think I will be excited next time I get pregnant. I'll only be afraid for 9 long months.

Re: Intro Thread .... a place to share your story, and get to know others!
Hi
My name is Jillian. I'm 30 & my dh is 37. This past November I suffered a full term pregnancy loss, and our daughter Sarah Marie passed away.
Not a day goes by that I'm not sad, or petrified that this will happen again. I think it's impossible not to be. I just hope that somehow I will have the strength to be able to get through another pregnancy, so that we can have our little one here with us.
Time has passed, and I don't sob everyday...but I don't think there will anything that will fill the hole in my heart. Another baby will never be a replacement, because our family will always be missing one.
I haven't posted a lot on here because I'm not quite sure if I fit in, but I hope that you ladies will accept me here, as sometimes I'm just in a very lonely place...

Hi. My name is Michelle. I am 29 and my husband is 25. We got pregnant the first month we decide to try and I miscarried at 6 weeks 4 days. I am currently miscarrying at home, and my doctor said I can try again in 3 months (or 3 full cycles). I am terrified to try again knowing what I know now. I feel as if someone robbed me of all the excitement so many other people get..I look forward to talking with other people that have felt this heartbreaking loss :(

I'm Ali age 32, DH is 33.
Got PG in 1/07 with DS on the first try, no complications.
Got PG in 1/09 on first try. I would have even had same due date as I had for DS but had a chemical at 4 weeks
Got PG in 2/09 before getting AF but had another chemical at 4 weeks. MC panel indicated I had MTFHR but they didn't think that was the cause.
Started taking baby aspirin and folgard and TTC again in 5/09 and got PG in 6/09. MC at 7 weeks (no HB) and I had to take the meds but no D&C
This is my first cycle with an RE (Copperman at RMA) so I hope he can figure out what the probem is as we start TTC again this month.
to everyone and good luck with the ER tomorrow Deanna!
Just wanted to update that my first cycle with the RE stuck and I'm almost 34 weeks now! I hope this brings hope to all of you... you WILL get there

Re: Intro Thread .... a place to share your story, and get to know others!
Wow this is a great thread.
I'm Kerri I'm 29 and DH is 28. we got pregnant on our HM and found out about a week or so after we came home (first week of december). Our first dr appt was Dec 26. Everything was well and there was a heartbeat. On Jan 11th we had appt number 2 and there was no longer a heartbeat or blood flow on the doppler. I never bled or even spotted a single drop of blood. I never had any excruciating pains or severe cramping like I thought I would if I were mcing. It was a missed miscarriage. 5 days later, on Jan 15th I had a DNC.
There was always a strange nagging negative feeling. I was scared more than the norm for me and.... I just felt like something bad was going to happen. I can't explain it really. Though I thought things were fine... deep down I just had this fear and bad feeling. Sometimes when DH or someone would say things like "when the baby comes...." and my first thought would be... there isn't going to be a baby. I didn't KNOW anything was wrong and had no reason to think it. At times I really thought everything was fine and OK too.
The testing from the DNC came back with Trisomy 21. Down's Syndrome. We are both supposed to go for genetic testing to see if either, both or hopefully neither of us are carriers.
We are currently trying again. this is my 2nd month using the CBEFM. I'd like to be pregnant by my original due date.

Re: Intro Thread .... a place to share your story, and get to know others!
Hi Ladies,
I am 30 years old and DH is 33. WE had decided that we wanted to start TTC in Jan 2010-- well on my 30th birthday 12/31/09 actually in the early morning of 1/1/10-- we got pregnant.. It was truly too good to be true! I knew at 3 weeks that I was pregnant--- this was my first pregnancy ever and was not seen until 10 weeks-- everything seemed smooth up until 3/3/10 (my dad's 60th birthday) we went to the 10 week sono and there on the screen is what the dr. called a "a beautiful embryo" until she realized there was no heartbeat. an baby only measured 8w6days. It was as you all have experienced devastating.. had the D&C on 3/5/10. about two weeks after that the results came back that the baby (a boy) had Triploidy , 69 chromosomes a whole extra set and incapatible with life-- so in the grand skeem of things it was the best way that it could have happened. I finally got AF 6 weeks to the day after the procedure-- we TTC last week and am currently in the 2ww-- however- I don't think I'm pregnant- as I don't feel like I did the first time-- no signs-- I am trying to stay positive- but I never knew just how much I wanted this until it was taken away.
This board is amazing and just makes me feel less alone--- I am glad you ladies are here however sad that we have all had to endure such extreme pain and heartache.
Condolences for your losses and best wishes for our future healthy pregnancies and healthy babies!!!

Re: Intro Thread .... a place to share your story, and get to know others!
Hi everyone. My name is Jenn, I'm 32 and DH is 33. We were married in 2003 and decided to wait a few years to start a family. I wanted to be off BCP's for a while and make sure my cycles were regular. Well I went off the pill in May 2005 and did not get AF - I kept testing and testing and nothing. . . In July 2005 Surprise I'm PG. Had no clue. At my ultrascreen we found out the baby stopped developing around 6 or 7 weeks and I needed a D&C. We were completely devastated. Decided to wait til we bought a house to try again. Fast forward to 2007 - we are officially trying again, and trying and trying. Nothing for over a year. Went to RE - after 3 IUI's and 2 IVF's still nothing. Meet with another doc (Dr. B) he runs some tests and I have a hysteroscopy to check on a previous uterine surgery. I have high NK cells - great finally an answer that makes sense. Waiting for AF after hysteroscopy to try IVF again. Surprise! PG again (on my own again). I started spotting around 6 weeks (at my sister's wedding) but everything was fine at my sono, saw HB and saw the baby moving around. Had my ultrascreen and again found out the baby stopped developing this time around 11 weeks. Needed another D&C 4 years to the day of my last. So here we are again, I did one more IUI with Dr. B. and BFN. I am now in the process of an IVF cycle, hopefully having ER in 2 weeks. I am so grateful for all of the wonderful ladies on this site. Sorry for the long post.

Re: Intro Thread .... a place to share your story, and get to know others!
My name is Kristen an I am 35 , DH is almost 35. I've had one loss at about 9 weeks. The pregnancy was never really viable. My beta was going up but not as much as it should have been. The embryo basically never implanted correctly, it just wasn't meant to be.
I've been seeing an RE for quite some time. I started in Sept. 2007 and was pregnant with my DD in December 2007. She was born September 2008. Currently we're TTC #2. We had an IUI in January that failed. We had another IUI on Valentine's Day that resulted in a BFP but then I miscarried. I just had another IUI this past Sunday so now we're in the 2WW. Hoping for some good news soon.
