Feeling sad...

My background is I had a missed miscarriage in late July and a D&C two days later. My first period came on Sept 1. Yesterday I began bleeding (Sorry TMI) pretty heavily for me. My period is usually consistently at 28 days. This is the first time I ever recall it being early, and so far heavier than normal. I woke up in the middle of the night last night crying, and my DH just doesn't understand. To me, this effects so many things.

1) My period came early and I'm not PG this month.
2) As it is early, it throws off my cycle by 4 days.
3) My DH will be away on a 5 day bachelor party during my next anticipated ovulation period. Thus there's no chance to be pregnant next month either.
4) This also means that my period will be starting at the beginning of our Carribbbean vacation in October, instead of the end of it.
5) It will be at least two more months before I even have a chance that I could be pregnant.

My DH says, "We still have plenty of time" and "It will happen again." I'm so bummed and I'm hoping maybe one of you ladies might understand how I feel.

Sorry to hear that you're feeling down.
Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon I've been there before too. Chat Icon But, try and find something to keep you positive so you don't focus on the irregularity of your cycles too much. Maybe that carribbean vacation Chat Icon You never know what could happen.

I def understand how you feel. Sorry you are feeling down.

I just got Af for the first time since my MC this weekend and my cycle was very heavy too. They say your cycle may be irregular after a m/c it may be be longer/shorter and heavier.

I think we can all relate to the fustrating ..when it seem a like we are set back by another month or two. My DH always says the same thing...."it will happen" . We just want it to happen today... Hehe.

IT just takes one time...At the "right time". So u still may have a chance next month or so even if he is away. U never know u may now ovulate later with the changes to your cycle.

Lot's of Babydust for next cycle.

Re: Feeling sad...

That does sound frustrating. Chat Icon I heard that cycles are off after a m/c...mine came early (26 days after the D&C) and I have no idea what this month will bring (hopefully Chat Icon )

I also had a very heavy AF..like bad, so that sucked.

As far as when you will be Oing next month...there is no "garuntees" why not try using OPKS maybe it will be off? Maybe you will O earlier than later and still have your chance?

Re: Feeling sad...

I can relate Chat Icon I had the exact same situation; a missed miscarriage at the end of July and I got my first AF on 9/3.
Its frustrating starting all over again for so many reasons but I think mostly its because we dont really know our bodies anymore. We are trying this cycle but I dont know when Im O'ing anymore or when to expect my next AF. I was like clockwork before all this.

Like the other girls said, the cycles tend to be irregular initially so hang in there and know that there is still hope because it only does that 1 time.

I hope you have a great vacation!! I too am going away in October; I have a cruise to Cayman Islands and Ochos RiosChat Icon I know if I dont get pg this month I will be bummed but at east I have that relaxing vacation t look forward too!! Chat Icon

I totally understand you're frustration Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon I don't think you're necessarily out for the next two months though...I know a lot of us have had irregular cyles after our m/c so you never know if you might O earlier or later next month, so maybe your DH won't be away at the time you're o'ing after all! Re: Feeling sad...

I definately stinks when your cycle is thrown off that way. Try not to let it get you down too much, you never know what could change in the months to come. Your cycle could always change again...the timing of your O could change....you just never know. This journey is definately long and frustrating for many of us, and to throw a previous MC into the mix does not help the situation. I know it is hard...but try to take things day by day, and look forward to that trip you have coming up!!
