Which twin strollers hold two car seats at the same time?
I've done a lot of research into twin strollers and narrowed me favorites down to 3, but now that I'm thinking about it I doubt any of them hold 2 car seats at the same time!
My faves are:
Bumbleride Indie Twin
Baby jogger city select double 2010
Summit 360 Double Jogging Stroller
For those with newborn twins, did you have a double stroller that accommodated both car seats? And if not, was it a problem? The issue I'm finding with strollers that DO accommodate both car seats is that they are big and don't fit through the door! I live in NYC and there's not enough room on a sidewalk for a bulky stroller, me, DH and other people!

the only one I know of is the double snap and go. I;m getting the snap and go and the indie twin for when they get bigger, keeping them in he car seat will just make it so much easier.

at what age on average can babies sit up without help? Is that when they outgrow the infant seat in a stroller?
I'm thinking, do I buy the stroller NOW or wait until they're 5-6 months.

I have the Graco Duo Glide I use with 2 infant seat now for the girls. I like it....

I used the double snap and go up until the boys were about 8-9 months old. It is the easiest. I miss it!!I have the graco duo glide but it is so bulky. I also have the combi side by side and I tend to use that more b/c it is easier and the boys like being next to each other. I got the snap and go and Graco duo glider at my shower.

I live in NYC as well and I LOVED my snap and go! It was so great and light and convenient! When I had to retire it, I was really, really sad!
I then had the McClaren Techno (I only used it for a short while...too heavy and bulky) I also had a full sized double jogger! I LOVE that stroller as well!
Now, we are looking at purchasing a sit and stand for convience mainly! My 2.3 year olds walk a lot, but when I need to get some where fast, I need to stroll!

I switched mine about 7 months, but they are on the bigger side

I did it around 6 months. This is when they started to be able to sit up on their own. However, if you have a stroller that has reclining seats, you can do it much earlier. In fact, you don't HAVE to use the infant seat as a stroller. As long as the stroller seat reclines back all the way, you can use it from the begninning. Its just so much easier with the snap-n-go.
I used the snap-n-go for going out at until they were 6 month and then switched to the maclaren twin techno.
I use the InStep Safari for walks and outdoor things.

ii will definitely be getting the double snap-n-go this time around!!
used a snap-n-go for DS and it was by far the easiest stroller ever. i loved not having to take him in and out of this carseat all the time. since you live in NYC that may not be an issue for you though....
