Does everyone go on bedrest?

I am so nervous about going on bedrest. I need to work right now, because once I go out I get no disability or maternity. I need the salary.

Please tell me when you went out! Thanks!

I delivered at 36 weeks and never went on bedrest. I worked from home from 27-34 weeks and used saved vacation days for the last two weeks.

i never went on bedrest - delivered at 38 weeks.

I never went on bedrest. I did have to stop working per my doctor's orders at 28 weeks. I thought that was nonsense and wasn't going to stop working but I'm glad I did. I started having contractions at 30 weeks and had to go to labor and delivery. My contractions wouldn't stop and I almost had to be admitted. After that I just took it extra easy at home - hard to do with a 3 year old but I managed.

I stopped working at 30 weeks (i worked per diem but was on my feet the entire time....if I worked a different kind of job I could have worked longer)
No official bedrest.....was told to "take it easy" around 33-34 weeks and delivered 35w and a few days

I did not go on bedrest with my identical twins. However, I did deliver early (30 weeks). Bedrest would not have prevented the early childbirth (according to my Dr).

I know it stinks but for the safety of you and those precious babies if you have to go on bedrest, we will all be here to support you!

I was never put on bedrest either.

i have been on bed rest since week 15, but a couple family members never seem to stop rubbing in that "a friend of a friend" who had twins didnt go on bed rest so why did my dr want me to go on from now - as if i chose to go on bed rest - especially when i have a 2.5 y/o at home!!

yes, some women PG with twins go on bed rest, but i was also on bed rest when i was PG with DS for the last few weeks of my PG so I think it depends on the person more so than the type of PG!

no but i had to stop working at 31 weeks. i delievered at 39.

Never went on bed rest but I did stop working at 29 weeks (hs teacher). The commute and the physical nature of the job (even though I sat for a lot of my teaching) was getting too much.

I took it easy for the rest of the pg and delivered at 38 weeks.

I wasn't on full bedrest but I was told to stop working at 33 weeks. They were born at 38 weeks.

I worked up until the day I delivered...38 weeks 5 days...no bed rest for me. It all depends on the person...

I was on full bed/pelvic rest for 12 week!! it sucked lol
I went into preterm labor, so i was on a t-pump and home monitoring also.

Never went on bedrest. I worked in sales from home and told my boss I would not be traveling after 32 weeks. He was fine with that. I did a lot of web presentations. I was working the day I had the babies(I was given an emergency c for preeclampsia)

so far i am not on any bedrest at 28 weeks.
i even have a cerclage.. but its holding up very strong!!
however i stopped working already because i feel pressure and very uncomfortable already.

so i do try to take it easy!

I was never told to go on bedrest, but my doctor told me to stop going to work at 35 weeks (I gave birth at 36 weeks). I could barely walk anyway since one of the boys heads was really, really low. That last week I could only stand up straight to go to the bathroom.

I never went on bedrest either. I am a teacher, so I worked summer school only 2 hours a day, but sat most of the time. My Dr.s did not know I was, and I went in the first day and was induced the following week.
