resume writing fees
i am looking to have my resume redone and the person who did my husband's (who is great) wants $400 to write one. a few years ago DH paid $300 for his.
im curious..is that a fair fee?

Wow..I am in HR...i've often considered doing that on the side and the thought to charge that much would never cross my mind! I would think $50-100 would be fair depending on the person's level and how detailed they want it to be.

I come from an HR and Recruiting background as well. I've seen fees of anywhere from $100 to 400, depending upon the level of experience and the detail needed for the resume. Usually the service will provide a resume and cover letter templates.
