Saving projects/school work - how do you decide?
DD just finished Kindergarten and I have so much work that I kept. Now what do I do with it? I was thinking of making a kindergarten binder and putting most of her school work in there (she had a weekly book report and I saved each one ). There's just so much and I am not sure what to save or how to organize! Please help
What did you do?

I have Schoolfolios for my kids. We got the Single.
ETA: The All in One looks pretty nice, wish they'd had that when I ordered.

OMG - how cute is that. I want that.
Right now I put her stuff in the clear storage bins. We also make "books" for grandma and grandpa. I could not possibly keep all I want, so we use about 20 pages and make holes and string them to make books for them. She has so much fun picking out the pics to give to them and they love having them

Those school-folios are really cute !
Not sure what I am doing w/ his schoolwork yet (I'm in the same boat as you, overload)
But with some of his art work, what I have done is taken pictures of it and I plan to keep them in a photo album

We are trying to 'wallpaper' the playroom wall with their artwork. It's coming along! I have recently started to bring some of their art to work as well. Other stuff goes in a box.
I'm a packrat and prone to keeping every single piece of paper they have ever doodled on but my husband is a clutter free kind of dude and simply sh*tcans stuff that he feels is redundant. We always keep love letters to us and report cards.. everything else Rob kinds of picks and chooses.

First, Hi Jenny!
We go through them weekly on what to keep, discard, and or frame. I have started a framed art wall in the playroom with all her completed school Art class projects (paintings/drawings). The other stuff I keep piled in the craft room. It's not much. I keep the memorable stuff, firsts, and so on.
-Also Colleen got Lauren a sketch book a couple years ago that she will practice on paper what she is drawing and then will do her masterpiece in the book. So that helps a lot with the clutter too. I'd rather the sketch bound books than the loose papers.
