I feel like a horrible friend
My best friend, who I have known since I was 5 years had. Had her first child yesterday. We went to see her and the baby today and to be honest all I felt was jealous. I didn't even hold him because I just couldn't get over my feeling. I feel like a horrible friend cause the only thing I can think is why not me.

Don't beat yourself up over this. It is natural to feel that way. It does not make you a bad friend at all.

You are not a terrible friend.... Quite the opposite. You a great friend for JUST GOING THERE, despite how much you have been through.
It is so normal to be jeaolous after your lossses, it's only natural ( and your human). There were so many times I felt like that, but that fact that you could still be there for her shows you are a great friend!!!

You're a good friend for going and you're honest with yourself to recognize your feelings. I totally understand where you are coming from...we all do! Just keep thinking to yourself that it will be you one day!

You aren't a horrible friend! not at all...there is nothing wrong with feeling sorry for yourself when you are happy for someone else.
The fact that you went means you are a good friend, and I think it's great you went! That will mean a lot to your friend. People remember those things.

Honestly its not you- the way you are feeling is taking over the person that you are...its not jealously its something that you have to get over- I know b/c I had the same feelings but honestly at one point it all went away Your a good friend
