Would you even bother?
I am so sick of the mass mailing of resumes. Should I/Would you even bother printing a generic cover letter and mass mailing this time of year? I usually do personalized cover letters but I don't have it in me to spend that kind of time again.

I'd save the stamps... most LI districts use OLAS to post their vacancies, and won't accept paper resumes. If you're applying to private or charter schools, send 'em!

I would fax instead of mail. When I was looking a few years back, that's what I did and got calls back.

I think most districts are not even accepting paper resumes anymore. Most are online. BOCES also has a list of districts on their site.
Perhaps emailing principals directly?
