2nd of school ... so here we go - School photo related!
Do you do the school photos?
I feel I should feel guilty not to do it.
It's $30.
Package A
1 8x10 (I don't need an 8x10)
2 5x7
4 wallets (completely useless to me)
Package B
4 5x7
8 wallets (even more useless)
I could give my mom one of the 5 x 7 and keep the other one. I would have more use of the 5 x 7. Not sure who I would give them too. Maybe for DH for his desk 
Which package would you choose?
Please guide me in the trial and errors of school photos!

I picked B also, but if there is a choice to do a la cart I would just get what you want even if it is a few dollars more.

I pick B too.
We did daycare photos last year and will do school photos this year, because I never do studio photos, and I like having at least one "posed" photo of him. And the daycare one last year was so freaking cute. 
I give the wallets out to his cousins.

i never do the school photos because they never come out good. i always just go to picture people at some point in the year and do them there. but if i were you i would just do the smaller one and if you absolutely love it, you could always order more later on, or even scan it!

They dont give you the option just to buy one pic? I could swear that with both my kids' preschool and elem school they give that option. It's usually in the fine print not in your bolded options, KWIM? I usually get the packages bc we have a lot of relatives in the photo loop. I know someone who just buys 1 5x7 and 1 class pic every year. She prefers to take her kids to Sears (or wherever) instead.

I am "other".
I used to buy the fall picture packages every year. I really don't like paying first and then getting stinky pictures. 2 years ago, my dd's picture came out this icky grayish green color and the company didn't fix it.
Last year I said forget it. Took them to Target the same week that school pics were. I paid less than half the price that the school pics would've been, got them in less than half the time and they were absolutely wonderful.
I will be doing the same this year.
edited to add, I do buy the class picture though.

Is there an option to get a CD? That's what I've been doing. Class photo and a CD. That way, I can print out exactly what I want, in the quantity that I want. Plus, I can email them to people.
