maternity clothes question
Did you ladies find that you eventually "grew out of" your maternity clothes and needed to buy bigger sizes toward the end? I am 12 weeks and had to break down and get some maternity clothes. This is much earlier than with my son. I think it is mostly because I am starting off 85 lbs lighter. This means I cannot wear any of my old stuff and had to buy new. I don't want to go overboard if I will grow out of them. What do you think?

Re: maternity clothes question
I spent close to $600 on maternity clothes for the summer, mostly for work. I have to go out and buy more now for the winter, just a few sweaters and stuff. But yeah, i grew out of 1 or 2 tops. More so because of my upper body and not my belly. my boobs got bigger and my shoulders got broader.

I am afraid of the same thing. I haven't grown out of things yet but I can def see it happening soon! I didn't go crazy at first and I am buying stuff as I go along.

Re: maternity clothes question
no i didnt grow out of any, if you stick with the pants that go over the whole belly those should last throughout the pregancy. i didnt have many maternity shirts, i mostly wore a larger size shirt, i did great at fashion bug clearance racks for tops and swaetshirts for CHEAP and thats a store i normally dont shop in!!!

Re: maternity clothes question
I'm 37 weeks and waiting to deliver and have grown out of much of my clothes. I'm okay in the pants department but because I'm carrying all in front I found a lot of my shirts are not "long" enough to cover the way I would like. I ended up going up a size and getting a few long sleeve things for the fall to cover me the last 6 - 8 weeks.

This is what happened to me.

Re: maternity clothes question
I was wearing mostly (ugly) dresses to work and they were all like tents that just grew with me.
At night and on the weekends, I just wore the same jeans from Motherhood that I had been wearing all along.
I didn't have to buy larger clothes----I just stopped caring about how I looked!
