Kinda dumb question RE: maternity clothes (for those well in their pregnancies)

I was thinking about maybe picking a couple of pairs of pants so I don't have to unbutton/unzip my pants everyday.

When you buy maternity pants- can you use them throughout your pregnancy? Or will I have to buy more later on?

I wore the same ones my entire pregnancy the first time. I'm 32 weeks and still in the same ones this time. Just make sure you buy your regular size (like if you are normally a medium, buy medium maternity, don't buy smalls) they may seem big early on, but they should fit the entire pregnancy -- at least that's been my experience.

Have you tried the Bella Band? I really liked that in the beginning.

Yup, I'm wearing the same pants since I started wearing maternity (I'm 37.5 weeks now). I prefer the full panel secret belly fit pants, they grow with your belly.

With my first pregnancy, I needed bigger pants by the end.

With my first pregnancy, my pants started to get a little tight at the end, but I had bought the lower cut bands. This time, I bought the secret fit pants & I'm sure I'll make it through. At 30 weeks I still fit just fine. Shirts are a different story Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Kinda dumb question RE: maternity clothes (for those well in their pregnancies)

I wasn't able to wear the same pants. WHen I first started buying pants, my belly was kind of small, but too big for my regular jeans. I bought maternity pants with the half panel. THose worked for a long time, until I really started to pop. Then they became way to tight on my belly. I had to go buy the full panel pants. I have stayed the same size though.

If you look in my album, you can see my half panel jeans at 20 weeks, and then my full panel by 25 weeks. My belly grew a whole lot in 5 weeks.

Still wearing the same ones but the actually got bigger( I guess they stretched out). I actually prefer yoga or sweat pants now.
I am 37 weeks.

ETA: NONE of my pregnancy shirts fit except the really long ones. Most show my belly at this point.
