My mom goes to one in Bay Shore - he actually took her tonsils out when she was in her late 60's - had to be done though. She was very happy with this practice. I'll ask her the name tomorrow.

I use Dr Eric Bergson, in Bayshore; Main Street/Montauk Hwy. (631) 427-8860
(May be same practice as poster above, it is a practice with 5-7 doctors.)
He's affiliated at Good Sam and Southside. I had sinus reduction, nasal polyp removal, and my deviated septum fixed.
The front desk folks aren't very personable there, but I never had any issue with the doctors and they have early morning hours (7AM-3PM) so I can get an early appt and have to take less time off from work. Plus there are so many doctors there you can get an appt fairly quickly. I actually saw a different doctor at first and when he determined that I needed surgery Dr Bergson came in to see me and from now on I see him.
The other nice thing is they have hearing and xray facilities in the same office building and they'll take you right away - so if you need an xray or cat scan you just walk a few doors away and off you go.

i HIGHLY recommend Dr. Zelman!!! He did my ear surgery in 2003 and i LOVE him. before him i had 10% hearing in my left ear and now i have 100%! FM if u have any questions.
