We have pug and she is allowed everywhere. She sleeps with us every night.

Achilles is a shihtzu/daschund mix. He's about 15 pounds (but was supposed to be 7). He is allowed on our laps on the couch but never ever our bed. He's not even allowed in our bedroom. DH & I are so against dogs in our bed.

We have:

Jackson - Yellow Lab 80 lbs 8 years old
Sadler - Shih Tzu 17 lbs and 5 years old
Kasey - SHih Tzu 11 lbs and 3 years old

They are all allowed on the bed. They sleep with us at night.

They are not allowed on the sofa.

My Peaches is actually right now snuggling on the couch with me right now.... she is such a snuggle muffin i couldn't imagine not having her next to me when i am on the couch... she doesn't sleep in the bed with us... she never has so she doesnt know what she is missing...

Peach is a 1 1/2 cockalier who is about 20lbs who i rescued at 8 wks old

We have a Brittany Spaniel
He will be 3 years old in March
He is 45 lbs.
He is allowed on the couch. We have leather so hair doesn't stick to it
He also sleeps in our bed. We have a duvet that get changed.

Nope! He's not allowed on any furniture... He has his own comfy beds to lay on and I cannot stand hair on my furniture/clothes. We started this from day one though, so he doesn't know what he's missing.

I have a 7lbs Maltipoo and he's allowed on everything.
He does not shed.

I have 2 black labs and they shed so much.

The only problem we have is with the couch in our sitting room. Our one dog thinks its her couch and likes to sleep on it when we aren't looking. I just bought her a new big pillow bed.

I hate their hair. It gets everything all gross.

At first we said no couch, but that did not last long at all. he is now right up there with us watching tv.

as for the bed- no he isn't allowed in our room. but im sure if he was, he'd be up there with us too

Yes, I do. But its a yorkie, 3lbs and doesnt shed really. Sometimes I find some hair.

I was one of the ownerss that said never ever, now i fight with my DH to let him sleep in the bed with us.

Our furbaby is allowed everywhere we can fit our vacuum!

My cavalier king charles spaniel (16lbs) is allowed on the den and basement couches, but not the living room. He seems to get it, though occasionally, he'll try to sneak up on the LR couch.
He's allowed in our bed, but not all night. He sleeps in his own bed. We only let him up (it's too high for him to jump) in the am sometimes--usually on a weekend when we want to sleep in a bit.

ETA: I should have skipped the explanation and just showed these pics! The first one is my dog watching the dog show!

Lilly is an Italian Greyhound, 10 pounds and goes wherever she pleases in the house... on the couches, armchairs, beds - she actually sleeps in our bed with us.

I have 2 dogs and I let them both on the bed abd sofa. They are both chihuahuas so they are small. One is 5 lbs the other is 7. The shedding is the only thing that is mildly annoying. They are not big enough to really do any damage.

yes our yorkie is maybe 10 lbs and we have had him for 13 months and he is allowed on everything

We have a 1 year old cockapoo, he doesn't shed, he's allowed on all the couches, but not on our bed

We have a border collie/shepherd mix, and she sheds A LOT. So no, she is not allowed on the furniture.

My dog is a Maltese, 13lbs and she is 4.. I have had her 3 1/2 years..

Sleeps with me and is always on my furniture.. has an open crate that she loves as well and goes in all the time when she wants some alone time.

She's allowed on one sofa chair only with the blanket covering it. She knows not to go on it unless the blanket is on.

We have two miniature schnauzers - they do not shed.

So, they are allowed (when invited) on the couch and in our bed. But, they have to look first for us to say "OK" and then they can come up. We sometimes like to lay down without them so that is why we allow them if they are given permission. So, they'll sit on the floor and look at us and we'll either say "NO" and they'll walk away and go lay in their bed or go play with toys or we'll say "OK come up" and they will jump up.

Sandy allows us on her bed! She actually complains when we move her. She is allowed on the couch but is quick to move into your spot if you move.
Toby used to have his own bed but was allowed to snuggle until bedtime. He was known to wake DH pretending he wanted to goout so DH would go downstairs & Toby would juimp in his spot like nothing happended. It was very funny.

When we got our dog when he was 10 weeks old, I said NO to couches and bed... DH kept saying it was OK. Now, we have a HUGE 80lb pit mix (we think he's mostly boxer LOL) all over the place. He's actually soo spoiled that he hates being on the floor. When people come over he tries to squeeze between them...and gives that sad look whenever we tell him no. I told DH this is it... the next dog we get NO couches or bed! None the less, he is a bed hog! Kicks either DH or me off the bed EVERY night LOL
