Did everyone have Fetal Echo's during their pregnancy?
I didn't have one when I was pregnant with DS. But yesterday at my Level II they said because BIL (DH's brother) has a heart defect and because it is multiples I need to have a fetal echo on the twins. It is scheduled in two weeks.
Did everyone have a Fetal Echo? The sono tech said regardless of BIL they wold have made me get one because of its multiples.

I went for a fetal echo around 26 weeks...they told me it was because I have GD and wanted to check their hearts because GD can cause heart defects. I was really nervous when I went, but everything turned out ok so I am relieved now that I had it done.
It is like a sono but they just focus on the heart...painless and simple. The only issue I had was that Baby B was in a position that they were having trouble seeing the entire heart and I had to go back a 2nd time to have more pictures taken of Baby B.

I had one on Baby B (Travis) because he had a single umbilical artery. I dod not have one for Baby A.

i did because they couldnt measure something on one baby's heart properly, as someone else said it was no big deal, just like a regular sonogram but they focused on the heart

I had them and not sure if it was becuase of multiples or becuase they noticed an issue at the growth sono. One of my sons had a pulmonary stenosis and was monitored monthly.
