question about the light for the nook
Is it necessary? I am getting the regular book w/ 3G and was curiosity if I should ask Dh for this ad a stocking stuffer

In my experience it's really only necessary when you'd need one for a regular book, like if he was going to be reading in bed while you are sleeping.

Agreed
They have a case w/ light attached
I have a light and it comes in handy...even the other night, the bedroom door was moving b/c of a draft and I shined it on the door :)
Security measures
It's good to have if you want to read in the dark.
