I usually DL a pic of my kids to use, but here are some websites that have art ready to be used as wallpapers and screensavers.

Re: Nook wallpapers
Thanks Cathy! I've used nook-look in the past but never knew about the wallpaper generator - that makes it really easy.

Re: Nook wallpapers
Do you just drag it into the folder? I thought I downloaded one and it doesn't appear. Gonna work on that.

Re: Nook wallpapers
Just copy it into the folder, then you need to set it to that filename in the Nook settings itself.

Do you mind giving more details?? I can't download my own pics into my nook.
TIA

Not sure if it's the same on the Nook as it is in the Nook Color, but this is how I did it on the color tonight.
Plug in NookColor Open my computer Open F:/ drive (or whatever drive is the external drive) Open My Files folder Open Pictures folder
Then, separately, open up the folder where you have the pics you want to put on to your nook. (Like for me, I went to My Pictures and then opened my 2010 folder of pics.)
Highlight the pics you want to put on to your Nook.
Copy (Control + C on a PC)
Go back to the first window you opened (where you left it open at the Pictures folder for the nook) Paste (Control + V)
Let the files finish copying.
Voila!
