What to do about 2 birthday parties in one day?
Last thursday, my good friend invited us over to her house for her kids' birthday party... My kids know her children and other kids who are going to be there but we live far from each other so they are not really play mates or friends.
The next day, on Friday, my son brought home a birthday invite from a girl in his class. H is not really friendly with her and I was surprised that he got invited it, but then spoke to the mom of his best friend in school, whose mom is a friend of mine as well, and that little boy got invited as well. It seems that the whole class is going and that's why the boys want to go...
You see where this is going, right?? Both parties are on the same day!
What do I do??? I know for sure that my son would rather go to his classmate's party, where all the kids from his class will go, but I already told my friend that we will be coming to her house for her kids' birthday... I know she will be mad if we don't come.
WWYD?

I think I would let my son go with his class. Can you still go to your friend's party without him? I guess if you already RSVPed to your friend, you should make him go. Westopped inviting our friends kids to parties along time ago. Its just too expensive. Sorry for being no help.
