I made a Kit Kat cake
Made a Kit Kat cake for my husbands birthday. He loved it! I filled it with peanut butter m&m's since he likes Resses but I hated the colors of those. Thanks whomever posted this originally-maybe Hayley?

She made her own cake but I bought a cake mix-white cake with fudge frosting. Bake, cool and frost the cake in a layer fashion(I used 9 inch cake pns) I bought 2 packets of 6 kit kat bars each(I had 1 left over I think) and a bag of peantut butter m&ms. Break the kit kats into pieces of 2 bars each and place around the cake sticking them into the frosting. Then put your ribbon around the edge and fil with m&ms.

when its time to eat it, and you untie the ribbon.. does it fall apart?
how do you cut it? do the m&m's just fall all over the place?

It's not difficult to cut into it.
You take off the ribbon and then cut in between the kit kats....it actually makes it easier to cut the pieces because they're predetermined by the candy.
The m&m's do fall out....but that makes it even more fun to eat!
It's so easy to make it. You can literally use any cake recipe, cake mix, pre-made cake...anything! Just frost it, and stick the kit kats to the frosting. They stick on there without the ribbon, but the ribbon makes it pretty.
