OK I can breathe now
I was just driving all around our neighborhood because I thought our crazy pug got out of the gate (he's done this before when people were coming in and out).
Finally DH realized he left the crawl space under our house open to put some things in there and Darby was locked inside when he closed it back up.
 
I feel such relief because I thought he was either hit by a car or stolen.
