Neurosurgeon
Can anyone recommend a neurosurgeon? I good friend of mine needs back surgery and we are looking for 2nd and 3rd opinions! TIA

Stephen Burnstein. He is the best of the best and saved my life when I had a tumor on my spinal cord about 5 years ago.

Dr. Michael L. Smith. Operates out of NYU. Has an office in Great Neck. He just did a 5+ hour operation to remove a brain tumor from DH (on his pituitary gland). Highly educated, skilled and knowledgeable.

We also highly recommend Dr. Bederson from Mt. Sinai. He did back surgeries on both my sister and brother (we would have used him as well, but he didn't take our insurance).
