Re: Saying weirdo things going into/coming out of anesthesia?
After my ER for IVF I was told to walk like Frankenstein to the recovery area. I told the doctor I was WAYYY prettier than Frankenstein!!
Although the best one was after my wisdom tooth surgery. My DH walked in the room and I said loud and proud that he was VERY well endowed and I couldn't wait to go home and
My DH said it was embarrassing .. but I told him to imagine how embarrassing it would be if he wasn't well endowed

Re: Saying weirdo things going into/coming out of anesthesia?
I had an endoscopy a couple of years ago and when they were wheeling me into recovery, I remember half waking up thinking I was a comedian on stage and they were my audience. In my head, they were laughing at a joke I just told, then out loud I said, "But seriously folks...." then pausing for laughter.
still makes me laugh.

Re: Saying weirdo things going into/coming out of anesthesia?
I told the anesthesiologist that I was too pretty for prison. He works in my doctor's office and he reminds me of this every time he sees me.

Re: Saying weirdo things going into/coming out of anesthesia?
The first time I was ever put under - I told the anesthesiologist and I Quote "You're FUc*&NG HOT!"
I remember telling him, the nurse reminded me I told him. I thought, oh well. I made a fool of myself. I'll never see this guy again. 1 Month later I had to go for another surgery and guess who the anesthesiologist was?
And he was nice enough to remember me!!!

Re: Saying weirdo things going into/coming out of anesthesia?
These stories are cracking me up
The only thing that I remember happened last November when I had my 1st carpal tunnel surgery. When I came out of it I "heard" them all talking about how they had operated on the wrong hand, but that it didn't matter since I needed the other one done anyway & that they would try & convince me that they were operating on my right hand all along. When I woke up I had a feeling that I might have imagined it, so I looked at the anesthesiologist & said a little panicked "I know this might sound dumb, but you guys didn't operate on the wrong hand did you?!?!?!" They all started laughing at me & assuring me that they hadn't

Re: Saying weirdo things going into/coming out of anesthesia?
The first time I had major drugs, I told my IL's and parents, "I'm not trying to be a b!tch, but I have no patience for any of you right now."
When I had DS, they gave me Demerol and I told everyone in the room that I wish I had done drugs a long time ago bc it felt awesome! lol

Re: Saying weirdo things going into/coming out of anesthesia?
I have a funny story. Just last week my bil had to be put under for a stomach biopsy. As the nurse was trying to wake him up, they asked him "can you tell us your name?". My brother in law answered "Barbara Streisand".

Re: Saying weirdo things going into/coming out of anesthesia?
I had to have a colonoscopy a few years ago. As I was coming out of the anesthesia, I looked up at the man wheeling me into recovery and said "what are you doing here"?. I had never seen this guy in my life!!
Oh and the Barbra Streisand thing is hysterical!!!!!!!

When I woke up after having my wisdom teeth pulled I was convinced that the oral surgeon removed my tongue. I kept pointing at my mouth and trying to speak but I had so much gauze in there that I couldn't really talk.
So I asked my mom for a pen and paper and wrote "is my tongue still in there?" and then pointed to my mouth. She thought that was hysterical and she tells everyone about it.
OMG this is hysterical!!!!
