Spinoff- for those who dont eat light/fat free items....
What do you eat to avoid the calories and intake? Examples.
I feel like I have to incorporate some of these things into my day, esp with WW and my points.
Like am, an equal in my coffee. I need some sugar.. or I would be adding 6 tsp of sugar!
I use FF sour cream for a veggie dip, on occassion.
Dressing, most times its FF.

You have to read the labels... some of the FF/reduced fat/lowfat items have horrid things in them.. there are others that don't have so you can still use them (and some don't taste too bad either)
I use splenda and I've read horrible things about it but I still use it. it's one thing I won't give up..
as for dressing, I don't use creamy dressings.. I use balsamic vinegar..

Re: Spinoff- for those who dont eat light/fat free items....
Personally I find the whole fat foods more satisfying therefore I eat less of them. I think if you measure out your portion sizes you can still stay within you WW points daily. Have you tried to decrease the amount of sugar you add to your coffee? Six sugars in a cup of coffee adds 90 calories to your daily intake. If you "NEED" the sugar I would switch from equal to sugar then try to cut down from six at 90 calories per cup to 2 at 30 calories per cup of coffee. I use one serving of half and half (40 calories) and no sugar b/c the half and half is sweeter than milk. Another way to eliminate the sugar from your coffee is to buy high quality beans. Good coffee just tastes better.

I cut down my sugar in coffee intake. I used to do light and sweet and now I get an XL with one sugar. Just do it gradually.
moderation is key.

I don't try to avoid calories. For me, it's about balance. If I have a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel for breakfast, I either eat half of it or make my lunch and dinner healthier.
Two teaspoons of sugar and a tablespoon or two of half and half in my coffee won't break my day, you know?
I don't think it's bad to eat fat free dressing or reduced fat dairy - but fat free chips, cookies, etc - you have to make up for taste somewhere and that's where the added sugars and chemicals come in.
But it's taken me a very long time to get to this point - because I used to be afraid of consuming ANY fat.

I dont eat FF cookies, chips etc.
Honestly, for me its not just taste...I just still feel that no matter what its not good for you.
FF dressing - not always like I stated, I also dont use creamy ones. I even use lemon on salads.
I think like Dirtyblonde said, I have to learn to get that point and Im not there yet to be comfy and eat certain fats, since Im not happy yet at my weight or have that control to eat just 1/2. lol.
Im def healthier.

I'd use regular sour cream but only have a couple of tablespoons of the dip and eat lots more veggies!
Dressing, I'd use EVOO and vinegar.
I do a lot of trading too...I'll use 1/2 and 1/2 in my coffee but use Smart Balance on my whole wheat toast, or Fat Free milk in my whole grain cereal (vs butter and whole milk).
I also try not to consume my calories in drinks (water and coffee, and occasional alcohol!), no other juice/soda, etc.
