Has anyone substituted spaghetti squash for pasta?
I bought one for the first time and I think that's how I'll try it. Hopefully, it will taste better than the shirataki noodles that I think are HORRIBLE!

Spaghetti squash is an excellent substitution for pasta and is very filling and nutrient dense!
Add a bunch of fresh veggies and tomato sauce for a delicious, healthy "pasta" primavera.

Yes! So darn good!! I add a little ricotta cheese and sauce and it's heaven. My DH even eats it without hesitation!

Yes - I've topped it with marinara, or a little olive oil, garlic and veggies or...this sounds a little odd but I like it...a small amount of butter and some cinnamon. So good!

Me neither. But I know a lot of people love it. The texture is too different for me and it freaked me out.

I adore it!! I bake it with sliced garlic and oil, and top it with some fresh marinara. Soooo good!! It's also really good as a side, made with honey and ginger.

I don't eat pasta at all...not for about 3 months now. Spaghetti squash is a regular in my house. I top it with homemade meat sauce. 
It's one of my favorite meals!

I poke holes in it with a fork or knife and then put it in the microwave until it softens up. Then I cut it in half and scoop out the seeds. Then take a fork and just "fork" out the squash. Simple! Then you can sautee it, put it in sauce or prepare it however you'd like!

I think its great as a pasta substitute or even to mix it with regular pasta so that u eat a much smaller portion of real pasta and you still feel full.
