Update on me
so it's been a little over 2 months since I found out I have type 1 diabetes
I went to the doctor yesterday and b/c of my diet and excersie habits
my insulin dosage has been drastically reduced!!!!!
2 months ago I was taking 6 units before eating
now- 2 units
and 16 units of long acting insulin
now 8 units
so I went from 34 units to 14!!!!!!
I am back at a healthy weight- about 120 - from 94lbs

That's great Beth! I'm sure its been a bit of a life change to learn to live with Type 1 Diabetes (my brother was diagnosed 2 years ago and was just pu ton the pump because he was having trouble regulating himself). It sounds like you're doing fantastic

it's been a huge change
everything is pretty much the opposite of what I used to do
but I am so much healthier and I feel great
I am putting myself first- this was a huge wake up call for me
