Indestructible dog toys?
Is there such a thing? Trixie loves toys but destroys them in a few hours.

Re: Indestructible dog toys?
Nylabones last a while but you might find tiny pieces all over your house after a while.
The black Kong toys also lasted a bit longer with our chewer than normal - but not by much.

No such thing! My crazy girl destroys Kongs too!
If they want to, they'll destroy anything.

The only thing that Jessie doesnt tear to pieces is the big tire with the rope...
also just the plain ropes are ok for her too... anything plastic or rubber are destroyed

Re: Indestructible dog toys?
We have a pit bull and we still have not found an indestructible toy. We found toys that have lasted her a long time.
We highly recommend Tuffy Toys. We got two of hers from Pet Warehouse. They are a little pricey but they do last. Her second toy has been with her for 6 months.
So far the only damage the bull has faced was his horns but body is still intact and seams have not ripped as of yet

Do not exist...Nylabones last awhile longer than most toys in our house but anything stuffed even the indestructible toys have a limited lifespan.

Re: Indestructible dog toys?
i would also recommend the tuffy toys...i get mine from mydogtoy.com because my 106lb labrador destroys toys really quickly also and i find these to hold up pretty well...i also joined their website to be a dog toy tester and you can buy their toys at a great discount and all you have to do is follow their guidelines with the toys and write a review of it

I'm going to try these out! They aren't so expensive if you think how much you usually spend on toys and how long they last anyway!

Re: Indestructible dog toys?
If you can find, a deer antler is the most indestrufctable toy we have found so far for our lab. We know someone who lives in a rural area and finds them in the woods. You can also buy them online.
The other indestructable toys we have found are ones she doesn't want to chew!

Re: Indestructible dog toys?
The ONLY thing that has survived in our house is the black Kong. All his plush toys he pulls the squeakers out. He had nyla bones that he ripped apart and other "tough" toys. I refuse to by him anything new

Re: Indestructible dog toys?
our dog loves her Kong! After having it for a couple years, she was finally starting to make dents in it so we had to replace it, but it definitely lasted way longer than any other toy we've ever given her.

Re: Indestructible dog toys?
I gave Maggie the Sophie the Giraffe teether for babies. It looks and sounds just like a dogs toy. She can tear through toys labeled indestructible in minutes and hasn't been able to make a dent in this.
