a Jolly ball. They make all different kinds and sizes. Some look like hippity hops, chipmunks or other animals. They also have ones that are round with holes in it and another ball inside it that can't come out. My dog LOVES all his jolly balls. They can float, bounce spin etc and they are indestructible. The one with ball inside drives him nuts.

My yorkies fave is the rope toy and the also likes the loofa.

He also likes anything plush, so we have a football and some cars.

Re: recommend your toys (dog)

Totally love the suggestion of a Jolly Ball. We have the red one with the handle that stays outside for fetch. And we have the hard purple one with the green ball inside of it that stays inside but is a "special time" ball. It's loud on the floors sometimes, so we put it away when he's not playing with it.

Also, the Buster Cube is great. I'm assuming Rat Terriers like to chase and catch small objects, right? Check out the Giggly Wiggly too, none of them move independently but the Giggly Wiggly makes sounds when it's moved or picked up. The Buster Cube can have treats inside and they can't pick it up in their mouths so they have to roll it around with their noses and paws - it's the cutest thing.

Ours didn't know how to play certain things either - until we found him a doggie friend who taught him!

We should have a Pets board GTG. Chat Icon

I like the regular old kong for my dog, when she's bored I stuff in a dog cookie that fits snugly inside it and then fill around the cookie with the kong filler (looks like an easy cheese can).. keeps her busy for a while
