First Grade Literature Circle

I am starting a 1 hour after school literature circle with my first graders. Each week, I plan to read a holiday or seasonal book and then do some sort of activity....an art project, smartboard game, etc. Are there any books/activities that your first graders loved that you can share?

These aren't seasonal but my first graders LOVE the Miss Nelson books.
