Anyone else have a hard time on thanksgiving?
Really hit me that I was hoping to have a belly at the Thanksgiving table 
Didn't help that my mom's cousin ripped into me on why don't I have a baby and when am I going to have a baby, etc. She doesn't know about the miscarriage but it was just so awful.
Hope you ladies had an easier time.

That's awful. im sorry you had to hear that
I had pretty much the worst thanksgiving ever. I went to three houses, two of them were my family and I went upstairs and slept through most of the day. Then we went to DH's moms and didnt stay very long. I was fighting back tears the whole day.

I failed to hold it together after watching my 2 year old lovingly rub our infant nephew's back and try to help my SIL feed him a bottle...just too many thoughts about how unfair it is to lose my baby-- and how my poor, wonderful DD is missing out on the chance to be a big sister. It was a really hard day.

I'm sorry you had a really hard time.
Surprisingly, even with being on bed rest I was in good spirits. This is my favorite time of the year and I was just trying to focus on being in the moment. I don't know how I would have reacted to a pestering family member grilling me about kids though. That's really tough.

We traveled to see family. it was hard because everyone kept calling DS1 "the baby". In my eyes he's not the baby...Ryan was born after him -- he's the baby. I would correct people and they didn't get it. Really ****** me off!
I'm pretty sure DH told a few of them to cut it out and why...but wouldn't you think after me saying it how many times you'd get a clue?

But i found out that my sister would be a surrogate for me if i ever needed it...

i try not to hold things like that against facebook lol... i would have found out anyway... it just happens that i actually HATE this person... but im friends with her cousin-in-law on fb (she did my make up for my wedding) and she posted it...
