It's bad enough that I have to go through life having people ask me why I don't want to have kids.
Now, when I am chatting with people who are in the same situation we still have to defend ourselves?
My feeling is acknowledging it just makes it become a "thing". Perhaps if people stopped feeling they need to defend themselves azzhats would stop commenting bc they were being ignored. kwim?

I haven't been on this board much (hi!) but I read about this a lot on Disney related boards. Lots of parents at Disney and talking about Disney put a lower value on families who go to Disney World without children. It's INCREDIBLE how nasty it can get.
