Best diet for an emotional eater?
I think I've tried just about everything out there. Anyone have experience with emotional eating? How did you learn to deal with it and lose weight?
TIA

Re: Best diet for an emotional eater?
I'm n the 17 day diet. I think you really just have to throw yourself into it hard to gain some momentum. My downfall is sweets/sugars, these are the things that cause me to overeat and it takes these out of the equation for me.

Re: Best diet for an emotional eater?
I don't know about a diet, but I am a total emotional eater. Lately I have been using Pinterest fitness borads to help inspire me and control cravings. So if I have an urge to eat something unhealthy, I get online and look at those boards or look at before and after weightloss pics. It has been helping! I dont think theres a magic diet for people like us, I think its one meal at a time an dmaking healthier choices over the long term. Good luck

Re: Best diet for an emotional eater?
I was an emotional eater...I call it eating my feelings. I found that going to therapy helped me the most. A diet won't fix anything as much as getting to the root cause of the bad feelings that drive us to eat. That was my experience anyway.
