Re: Quinoa
I love making a cold salad with it. I usually add tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, red onion, olive oil, mint, salt, and lemon juice. I'm sure I could be forgetting some ingredients but you get the idea. I think there's a recipe on the box that I sort of follow.

Re: Quinoa
I make turkey picadillo and throw a handful in with some extra tomatoe sauce/water.
It has to blow up - like rice. So it needs water.
You can also throw some in stews/chili. You can't really taste it just adds extra protein.
You can also make "rice" pudding with it or breads...never have though.

Re: Quinoa
I make it just as is and replace it with rice. I like it better than rice actually.
I just make a Thai Quinoa Chili yesterday. It was super yum!

Re: Quinoa
I make it as a salad with veggies /beans and dressing or as a hot dish usually in place of rice or couscous. I like the Red one best.

Re: Quinoa
I used it the other day to make stuffed peppes instead of rice.
I also sautee some of it with veggies and garlic and a bit of oil.
I can eat it plain though

Re: Quinoa
I usually make this with couscous but didn't have any so I made it with quinoa.
I cooked some chicken breasts (I like to boil it w/ some seasonings - keeps it moist).
When it was done, I added some mushrooms (I had canned but you can use fresh, just cook them down). I addded canned (or frozen) artichokes and some petite diced tomatoes (usually use sun dried but again - that's what I had). I would have added black olives if I had also.
=======================
I cooked the quinoa as the package said except I shorted the water a little and added some juice from the tomatoes and some oil from the artichokes for flavor.
=====================
Serve the chicken over the quinoa.
It sort of gets lost in the chicken mixture.
