Anxious and Nervous Dog
So my Bailey is a wimp lol. And that's putting it lightly.
He's a 8 yr old yorkie and has severe anxiety around other dogs, of any size. My mom recently got a puppy yorkie and this 1.5 lb nothing has my dog drooling and freezing up. He's always been like this around all dogs.
Any suggestions? We can normally avoid dogs but since he'll be seeing this new puppy frequently we can't avoid much anymore.
TIA!

You should really just keep bringing them around eachother but be there everysecond.. I usually sit on the floor with them.. and start to pet and talk sweet to the other dog so lola can see she is harmless.. The more you do it the better it gets.. Just never turn your back on them ever.. Also walking them together is an EXCELLENT idea and way to bring them together .. That should be your first step.. IMO G/L
