Blink Fitness?
Anyone a member of a BLink Fitness Club?
There's one opening in West Islip (Next to Chuck E Cheese and Bobs) it's $15 a month. The space is still empty, so I'm sure it won't open for at least another month or so but I'm considering joining since it's so close to my house.

Re: Blink Fitness?
I've never heard of it but it's not too far from me either.
My SIL lives over here too and joined planet fitness for $10 a month but they don't have classes and that's what I'm looking for.
I'm not sure based on their website if they have any classes.
I'm gonna keep my eye on it and see.
P.S. if you go on their website, you can join a sweepstakes by entering your name and email. Maybe win a free membership.

Re: Blink Fitness?
I live super close to this as well and just noticed that it was there yesterday. I found out it's opening in Aug, they are taking "pre-registrations" this week I think?? My current gym membership expires in July and is much more $$ so this is tempting. Am going to definitely check it out. I am on the fence about no classes - even though I haven't taken a class in so long, I like the option of having them.

Re: Blink Fitness?
Blink is a sub-division of Equinox. It is a beautiful gym with up to date equiptment, is always clean, and will be well maintained.
Equinox is the leading gym in the industry, in my opinion, and they won't ruin their name by putting it on a sub standard gym.
You should check it out and expect great things.
Also, it is in the location that my current gym used to have and therefore I know the inside is huge!!!

Yes - the manager called me yesterday (I had called the main location to find out when they were opening WI) and she said they were a division of Equinox. You went to All 4 Sports? I noticed they opened a new one on John St. in WI...much smaller.

Re: Blink Fitness?
It is smaller but it looks so much smaller from the outside. It is bigger than it appears.

Blink Fitness?
Has the WI location opened yet? I just found out that they are opening one in the Islandia Shopping Center which is much closer to me than WI. The Islandia location is not opening until October. I was hoping to check out the WI one to get an idea of how it is set up and what kind of machines are available.
