Need help with Stomach Pain

I have been having bad stomach pain since Monday. The pain is located in the area above my navel (in the center) and hurts when I touch it. I was wondering could it be from all the advil I have been taking for cramps (only took on Monday though)? I have an OBGYN appointment next week but do not know if will make it until then.

Does anyone know what this could be?

could be an umbilical hernia? adults can get this too, not just babies.
do you recall lifting anything heavy, or straining?

Go to the doctor to rule out appendicitis.
One of the symptoms is pain around the belly button.

Any bad pain that is out of the ordinary, I feel it's important to either see your own PCP or go to an urgent care place if your PCP is booked/not available.

It's better to be safe.

I had something similar once and went to urgent care because it was pretty bad.

I felt silly because their final diagnosis was it was "gas related" but this was very unusual pain for me.

I don't want to scare you or anything, but my late cousin had sudden onset of pain similar to what you describe and it ended up being colon cancer.
