Dentist

Does anyone have a good Dentist that they go too. I need to take DD (5) because she's getting shark teeth and I am DREADING it! I know she will be kicking and screaming from the moment she enters the doors.

Suffolk Pediatric Dentistry in PJS deals with children that have special needs. We did go there, and it was fine, however, they wanted to put my son under for fillings, and I didn't want that. Not to mention the cost was astronomical and not covered by insurance. Went for a second opinion at Kidssmiles, same thing with putting him under. Except their cost was even MORE astronomical.

We now take him to Stony Brook Dental School. They have a unit for children with disabilities. They are very patient, and were able to do his fillings without putting him under. Which makes me wonder if they were just trying to get money out of me at the other places!
