Fluid low for baby A-updated fixed one problem, now there's another
Baby b's fluid measured at 6.2 cm where baby A measured at 1.6 cm
They're sending me to LIJ today for a second opinion and protocol.
Anyone know what to expect?
**update** I feel like a ping pong ball just being tossed around So the fluid is fine for both babies.. they checked and rechecked. but when they put me on the monitor, we're back to a heart rate issue (but a different one) for baby A. Something about variablilty... they find a baseline and then want to see an increase in heartrate of 15. Baby B was fine.. she had exceleration with movement but baby A kind of stayed at her baseline of 145 for almost 2 hours. Im not freaking out about it because she could have been sleeping (I didnt feel her as much as baby b) but of course Im a little worried about what else might cause that. I have to go back to my ob tomorow morning for more monitoring to recheck baby A and If I don't feel her moving much tonight I have to go back to LIJ. So Im doing fetal kick counts but its so hard with twins.. Im not really 100% who Im feeling.

Re: Fluid low for baby A-anyone with experience?
Hi There,
I do not know your back history so excuse my questions...
Are they identicals?
How many weeks are you now?
This did happen to my ex sister in law...I'll be happy to speak to you about it if you would like via FM
Hang in there..there are things they can do to help, depending on the cause.

Ugh it never ends. And people say they WANT twins. Lol.
I hope she is ok. It sounds like she was sleeping. I've always wondered how you would do kick counts with twins!!
Good Luck!!
Sending lots of babies stay put dust to you!!

I know your fluid issue is resolved now, but in case it happens again....
Baby A had low fluid starting around 34 weeks for me. They monitored me like crazy (2-3X a week). At 36 weeks, they told me that I was there to stay and they admitted me and did a C/S the next day. Both babies were fine.
It's really all a waiting game at the end. Problems come and go but eventually they just pull the trigger and admit you. Get your bags packed just in case. You're almost there!

This is exactly how I feel.. its like things happen and then they dissappear. Its only a matter of time where they say enough is enough and let's just get this show on the road.
FWIW, Im 34w3d so I do feel better about having gotten this far. Its just amazing that I had ZERO complications this whole pregnancy. It was really great... I carried well, slept well, was active and happy until one day I wasn't anymore. It all changed so fast!
And, my bag has been in the car since last week

Re: Fluid low for baby A-updated fixed one problem, now there's another
I remember going to LIJ on Monday. I'd be there for 2 hours. Stay or go? They'd say..."A few more days. Come back Thurs."
I'd go back on Thurs. Hmmmm.....stay or go? They'd say..."A few more days. Come back Mon."
Finally, on a Monday, it was, "You're going to be a mommy today."
I was like HOLY SHIT! I just assumed I'd get sent home again so I didn't even have a camera.
(They wound up delivering me the following morning bc I had eaten breakfast that day.)
Such an exciting time. Enjoy and cherish every moment. You'll never forget it!

got sent back to LIJ after being monitored at the office. Baby A's heartrate decelrated to 90 bpm for 3 minutes with one of my contractions. They monitored me for 2.5 hrs at lij and then released me because she recovered fine and I didn't have any more severe contractions (some are more painful than others) I have to go on the monitor twice a week going fwd. and if I have any more of the severly painful type contactions 1x per hour for more than 4 consecutive hrs, I have to go straight to L & D.
Good times.
How are you doing?

Very lightheaded, felt close to passing out several times, queasy, can't even watch tv, can only look at phone screen for min without feeling sick, had no appetite for 3 days, have to lie down a lot. Ev'g checked out in normal range at hospital but I feel like I'm being tortured.

Re: Fluid low for baby A-updated fixed one problem, now there's another
Thanks, Gina & Ellie. Yes, pg related. Circulatory stress. When dr sent me to hospital thurs 3am, NP thought I was also having an anxiety attack. Dr just said keep hydrated. Lie down most of time but also move around some.
Yesterday, I felt a bit better but today worse again. But my appetite is mostly back so I'm grateful for that.
My mom is staying w/me to take care of me.
35 weeks. 3w til c section. Might as well be 3 yrs w/the way it feels!
How are you both feeling? Journey, any more contractions?
Just BH here although I had one wake me at 3am then got so anxious about c section.
