i'm not low, but high. i take a synthroid everything and it's completely helped the problem. i did not go to the dr you are referring to (i think) b/c his reviews were a little too mixed for me plus as you know, i live in westchester so i just found somebody close to my home. she's great and she checks my levels about every 6 months.

Whats the number? They say less than 50 is Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) and over 3 is Hypothyroidism, though they like to see it around 2. I see an endocrinologist in Riverhead (as I'm an east ender). I forget where you live but I think up Island a little more. They are OK. But, I remember when I first went there they thought they were gonna discover my IF problem. But they didn't. Thanks for trying. Let me know if you want their info.

Thanks ladies, I found someone who my rheumatologist recommended and made an appt for a week from Monday.

I'm not sure what the number is... I emailed Sandra asking about it this morning but haven't heard back yet.Chat Icon

I went to 3 endo's nefore settling, I see Karen Schwartz, she is in a suite next to Dr. B's office.

I saw his BIL a few times and while I liked his personality I felt he didn't give me much information.

I have Hashimoto's though.
