for those on synthroid
thought I would share - i just started a new T4 drug called Tirosint! It is an all natural, PURE form of T4 with no fillers - gel cap! It was approved by the FDA in 2007 but didnt hit the market until 2010. A coworker/drug rep told me about it, I asked my endo (Vaswani in Garden City) and apparently he LOVES this drug, switched me on the spot!
Since I have been on synthroid for 12 years and knew nothing of this new drug over the past 2 years, thought I would pass the info along!

I see vaswani and am on synthroid and my numbers are good. Are yours off or ok? Do u feel better on it?

well i am pregnant so my TSH has been out of whack due to that but since being on 200mg, I am finally "almost" within normal range (a TSH of about 3... trying to get it down to 1.5). Just started 200mg of Tirosint, won't draw blood for another two weeks! I will let you know though
