NYC Restaurant Rec Please - Theater District
Hi everyone,
Can you please recommend a good restaurant in walking distance of the theater district (44th btwn 7th and 8th to be exact) or the most a short cab ride?
We are going to see a play on Saturday, December 22 at 8pm and would like to eat before that. We are thinking a steakhouse but are open to other suggestions as well. We've been to Smith and Wollensky's, Bobby Van's, etc. Looking for something different if possible.
Anything stick out to you that you really love?

DH and I just saw a play and them had dinner at Havana Central on w. 46th street. The food was delicious and we had a blast for our anniversary....I even got DH to drink the pitcher of white sangria with me (he never drinks!)

Trattoria Tre Colori - it's in the theater district but i don't remember exactly where. We've been there several times and the food is always great and it's very reasonably priced. I highly recommend!

Totally agree love Havana Central great food and great atmosphere and even better sangria

Just ate at Cara Mia, on the corner of 46th and 9th. Cute place, small, nice decor, good food and great prices. It is right around the corner from restaurant row. We walked right in.
Also, Becco on 46th between 8th and 9th is SO GOOD but you need a reservation for sure. Every bottle of wine is $25, food is amazing.

I recently ate at Capital Grille, it was delicious! Totally walkable from the theaters as we went there after a show.

Thanks so much for all the recommendations. I'm going to try a bunch of these at other times but we went with Capital Grille for this one. Should be good :).
