If you sent invites to your DC's bday party thru the classroom (kindergarten).....

......and they do not rsvp. Do you call? Or just assume they are not coming?

I invited all the girls in DD's class, but haven't heard from 6 parents. I have to give a number tomorrow.

I would assume they are not coming, but have a couple extra goody bags made up in case they do attend.

I did not call but now we have a few invites for parties and I keep forgetting which ones we RSVPed to. I double checked with those parents. This is part of the reason that I did not want favors with kids' names on them.

I sent a reminder and everybody RSVPd and everybody came so my advice is don't assume!!

Do not assume they are not coming. I had that same experience and many people just forget to respond. You will have to email or call to get a firm no or yes.

This happened to me last year, about a third of his class did not respond. I emailed the ones that didn't and most had just forgotten to respond were planning to attend.

I did this and 5 people did not RSVP. They did not show up.

I would assume they are not coming and just account for an extra couple since there are always the last minute ones who call up the day before or day of the party asking if they can come.
