Anyone bake their own bread?
For the first time ever.. I ate homemade bread. My babysitter makes her own and brought me a small loaf.. wow!! Amazing! I'm a believer!!!

I do. Whole Wheat bread in the store is so expensive and all have like 20 or 30 ingredients where as I use just five or so. My dh hates wheat bread but will eat mine.

Anyone bake their own bread?
My mom makes challah bread (10 lbs). Makes it in September and lasts an entire year. So delish!! I will never buy store bought challah.

I do!! I like Amish white bread, but DH and kids love the Honey Oat. I also make homemade cinnamon raisin bread. Yum!!

I baked some the other day.. took a random recipe and use an aluminum pan.. it was good.. not great but will need some tweaking and a good pan.

Do you have a bread maker? If it's not a bread maker recipe, would you share?
This is the only one I've ever made, and it's soooo good

I bake bread regularly! Not to save money or for any health benefits... we still buy a fair amount of store bought bread, but I make bread 2 or 3 times a month just because it's fun and satisfying. I have made--
- White bread
- Honey wheat bread (our favorite and the one I make most often)
- Cinnamon swirl bread (probably my 2nd most frequently made one)
- Dinner rolls
- Sour cream and chive potato bread
- Rosemary focaccia
- Challah bread
That rosemary olive oil bread looks amazing, I definitely want to try it!

I make this bread all the time! I bake it in my Le Crueset and it comes out so nice and crispy. So, so good. No-Knead Bread
