Baked Sweet Potato?
Has anyone made this before for their pups/dogs? We've been buying the dognation brand ones at Petco - but it looks like they're literally just slowly baked sweet potatoes. Is it safe for me to just make them home instead of purchasing them?

Thanks! He loves the ones I buy from dognation - but was hoping I could just make them at home. I'll look into the dehydrator!

We slice them, throw them in a 200 degree oven for a few hours (usually one hour then filp for another hour)...and just keep them in until I get the texture I want.

making them would be so much better for your pup because its fresh and doesnt have preservatives.

Baked Sweet Potato?
I give my dog cook sweet potato all the time. It is actually recommend by my vet to give him sweet potatoes when he has an upset stomach. Too much can be binding for dogs.
